Portraits of well-known persons are continuously transformed by a custom-written script. Only the positions of existing pixels are randomly shifted, not a single pixel is added, altered, or removed. What emerges is entropy as a visual event: a closed system of 1400 × 1100 pixels rearranging itself, dissolving all recognizable form while retaining every piece of information.
