Significant objects — a parasol, then balloons — became test cases, placed in different environments, reconfigured, estranged from their function, photographed in a deliberately plain, documentary style. Over time the action of placing the objects became more important than the image. In a second phase, helium balloons were installed in public space photography became a byproduct of the action.
